Dembele not keen on West Ham United move

Lyon striker Moussa Dembele has no desire to join West Ham United during the ongoing transfer window, a report from Goal.com claims.

The Hammers recently decided to cut their losses on Sebastien Haller as he joined Ajax for a reported fee of around £20m.

Earlier on Thursday, it was claimed by RMC Sport that the Hammers have identified Dembele as a suitable replacement and they had already made contact with Les Gones.

However, Goal.com claims that the marksman has no intention of joining the club whatsoever, but he could yet leave the French outfit this month.

Dembele has dropped down the selection order this term with Memphis Depay preferred to lead the line on his own.

He was in fine touch last season with 24 goals and seven assists from 46 games, but he has netted only once from 16 matches this term.

Most of those appearances have come off the bench and he is looking for a fresh challenge. Atletico Madrid are said to be interested in a loan deal.
