Arsenal will reportedly attempt to sign Isco from Real Madrid when the transfer window reopens.
The Spaniard has fallen out-of-favour under manager Zinedine Zidane and he has made just three league starts this season.
Owing to this, he has not been able to prove himself and that has seen him dropped from the national team.
Isco is keen on a fresh challenge to boost his selection hopes for Euro 2020 and the Gunners are in the running to sign him.
According to The Mirror, the north London giants have identified him as the top target and they will attempt to land him on loan initially.
However, the former Malaga man does not appear keen on a move abroad and he would prefer to stay in the Spanish La Liga.
Sevilla are understood to hold a serious interest in Isco. The playmaker believes he can settle quickly with a domestic club.
Isco’s current deal with Los Blancos expires in the summer of 2022.
