Manchester United are reportedly close to reaching an agreement to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund this summer.
The England international has been widely tipped to join the Red Devils, but a deal has not materialised over the past few weeks.
Dortmund’s £108m price tag has proved a stumbling block for the club, but The Times claims that the Red Devils are close to reaching a positive conclusion to negotiations.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer‘s side are currently negotiating the structure of the transfer fee with the German outfit and it is widely claimed that they could pay an initial £70m for the attacker.
It has been previously mentioned that Dortmund won’t consider the sale of Sancho beyond August 10 – the day when they begin their pre-season training camp in Switzerland.
That is, however, unlikely to hinder any talks between the sides and United are growing optimistic about their prospects of landing the former Manchester City graduate.
