Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly keen on a reunion with Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric.
Modric spent four years at Spurs between 2008 and 2012 before he made the move to the Bernabeu for around £35m.
He has achieved legendary status over the years with more than 350 appearances for Los Blancos while winning four Champions League titles and two La Liga crowns.
According to El Chiringuito, the 35-year-old will be entering the final six months of his contract and that has caught the eye of Mourinho, who managed him for one season at the Bernabeu.
The Croatian has previously said that he is open to extending his stay further, but reports claim that Mourinho has made contact with Modric over a summer move.
They have bolstered their midfield with the purchase of Pierre Emile Hojbjerg last summer and the Dane has formed a terrific partnership with Moussa Sissoko.
