Arsenal are among the clubs interested in signing Maxi Gomez from Valencia during the January transfer window.
The Gunners have been poor in front of goal this season and they have netted just 10 goals from 11 Premier League matches.
As such, they are bound to bolster their attack in January and The Mail claims that they are looking into a possible deal for Gomez.
Gomez has been with Los Che since the summer of 2019 and he has netted three goals from 10 appearances this season.
Los Che are currently facing a financial crisis with the impact of the coronavirus and they are likely to offload players to accumulate funds.
Gomez is named as one of the players, who could head for the exit door and reports claim that he could be available on the cheap.
He has a buy-clause worth £125m on his contract, but could be available for just £25m when the transfer window reopens next month.
